We had a wonderful tour with guide, Fia. There were 8 of us ranging in age from 4 to 72 and everyone enjoyed the tour. Our little 7 year old is sometimes difficult on tours and Fia made sure that she gave him “jobs” like holding the sign to keep him engaged. It is A LOT of walking but everyone did great! We had a hip carrier for the 4 year old and we used it for 2 of the longer walking portions.

His friendly personality, attentiveness, intelligence, and sense of humor—combined with the wealth of knowledge he shared, enriched with fascinating details—made our tour truly unforgettable. Westminster Abbey, the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, the boat trip on the Thames—where the sailor’s guiding was also incredibly entertaining and funny—and finally the Tower all provided us with amazing experiences. We received far more than we had expected.

We always try to include the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, but the ceremony’s schedule is controlled by the Palace and can change without notice. If it’s happening that day, your guide will ensure you get the best viewing spot possible.
