Niagara Underground: Power Station & Tunnel Under the Falls Tour

I visited the power station in the morning, and it was a great experience. Walking through the tunnel was impressive, and at the end of it, you can see the falls directly—such a beautiful view.<br />If you have to choose between Journey Behind the Falls and the power station, I would definitely recommend the power station.<br />There were many displays explaining how many people were involved in building the tunnel, which really helped me appreciate their hard work and what it took to create this experience.<br />There is an audio guide available, but unfortunately, it didn’t work properly most of the time.

Tim did a great job in answering our groups questions and was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Did the audio tour but didn’t end up listening, there was enough items to read and a short video. The tunnel was impressive- the length of it and the height. You will be walking 2100+ft, almost half a mile in the tunnel. I could imagine the view at the platform to be really spectacular but it was really misty when we got there. Neat to see all the ice up close. Interesting to learn the history. We really enjoyed. Tip- don’t buy anything from the private tours, buy directly from Niagara parks and you will save with the Wonder pass. February 2026- Adult ticket for power plant tour is $33, wonder pass is $65 and includes behind the Falls $28 and Take Flight $33 and two days of unlimited railway, plus others. So unless you are doing only one activity, get the Wonder pass.
