A Day at the Palace: Small Group Paris to Versailles Day Trip with Garden Stroll

As always Walks of Italy tours delivered a wonderful experience in my Versailles Palace & Gardens Stroll. The guide met us in Paris and took us by train to Versailles where we toured the palace and took a short visit to the gardens. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and made the experience memorable.

This tour was great, guides were excellent and Manny explained things very well, with humor and interest for our 12 year old daughter. We had priority access as well, skipping all of the long lines for entry, we walked right into the castle. The walk through the town was charming and Andre did a great job explaining the local markets and the best ways to travel back to Paris. We chose to take a train back that ended right at the Eiffle tower to see that as well in the afternoon.

Definitely book with a knowledgeable guide to see Versailles! Our tour was considerate and well paced. We had a guide and full explanations from our meeting point in Paris all the way through the tour in Versailles. Lucienne was so knowledgeable and thorough in her explanations of history and the moments of the tour.

This was a very good overview tour of Versailles. The place is so large that it will take more than a few hours to see the whole thing. Good thing that you can spend a few extra hours exploring. Taking the train back is pretty easy.

This was a fun excursion! We had two guides. On took us from Paris on the rail system to Versailles. Wales is through the town and showed us around. Then we met our other guide who walked us through the palace itself. Very knowledgeable and warm.

Overall, the experience was great and very helpful. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we didn't feel rushed or anything, we enjoyed the trip immensely. However, we had a little trouble finding the meeting place to meet our guide who would take us to Versailles. I wish there was a landmark included on the paperwork on where to meet the guide at the train station in addition to an address. <br /> We had to call the 800 number to find out that we need to meet in front of the 'luggage' monument outside of the train station. Luckily, we left a little early and had time to spare in case we get lost - otherwise, we would have missed the guide. He actually waited for 5 minutes and left another couple who probably got lost just like us. He was very pleasant and attentive and guided us to Versailles and handed us over to the other tour guide with no issues.<br /> Please add a specific meeting point instruction for your future customers. We did enjoyed ourselves when we got there. Thank you!
